Our Facility
The Center for Hyperbaric Medicine is
located
at St. Francis
Hospital in
Charleston, West
Virginia. The unit
is located on the basement
floor of the
hospital and is adjoined to The
Wound Care
Clinic.

The Center has staff trained in
hyperbaric
medicine that includes physicians, nurses, and
respiratory therapists who will be
present while
the patient receives
treatment.
Our full-time staff is specially certified
in the
delivery
of hyperbaric
oxygen therapy. The unit
is staffed 7
days a week, 24
hours a day in
event of emergency.
The Center for
Hyperbaric Medicine routinely
schedules patients for evaluations and treatment
between the hours
of 8:00 am and 4:30 pm
Monday through Friday.
The Perry Sigma II duo-place chamber currently
utilized by our facility is
equipped with IV
access, ECG
monitoring capabilities, and
mechanical ventilation
for care of
the critically
ill patient.
The Center for Hyperbaric Medicine currently
accepts and treats
patients based on
indications set forth by The
Undersea and
Hyperbaric Medical Society.
